2026 Fall Homecoming
Launch the media gallery 1 playerNewman Grove Public Schools enjoyed Homecoming activities the week of October 5th-9th. The students participated in dress up days that included Meme Day, Fairytale Day, Rhyme without a Reason, Hawaiian Day and Panther Pride Day. A pep rally was held on Friday morning at the football field with class wig challenge, homecoming candidate race, cheerleaders introduction to teams along with coaches, and throwing pies at the faculty. The football game was a 2:30 p.m. game against BDS (Bruning, Davenport, Shickley). Unfortunately, the Panthers lost but it was a warm and nice afternoon.
The coronation was later in the evening at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria with lots of family and friends on hand. Madysen Wiese was crowned queen. She is the daughter of Scott Wiese & Tiffany Wiese. Nate Fowlkes was crowned king. He is the son of Darvin & Cindy Fowlkes. Other senior homecoming candidates were Jayden Benson, daughter of April Benson and Derek & Kristin Benson; Piper Jarecki, daughter of Kelly Nelsen & the late Adam Jarecki; Rylan Hoadley, son of Kelly Hoadley; and Dylan Luetkenhaus, son of Terry & Angela Luetkenhaus. Junior attendants were Brylee Patzel, daughter of Kevin & Delores Patzel and Oliver Kaufman, son of Luke & Tammy Kaufman. Sophomore attendants were Mackenzie Wiese, daughter of Christopher & Kimberly Wiese and Ashton Zoucha, son of Kelly Hoadley and Zach Zoucha. Freshman attendants were Brooklyn Benson, daughter of Bill & Lindsay Benson and Kelton Jorgensen, son of Tyson & Ginger Jorgensen. Crown bearers were Tatum Beranek, daughter of Tyler & Natalie Beranek and Peyton McCloud, son of Travis & Hannah McCloud.
The students enjoyed snacks and a dance following the coronation. Homecoming is sponsored by Mrs. Sweeter and the Student Council.
