Newman Grove 2025 Graduation
Newman Grove Public Schools held their 127th Graduation on Saturday, May 10th. The students were led in procession by the Junior Class Honor Escorts Aubree Whitaker and Kailey Patzel. The class colors were royal blue and silver grey; the class flower the white carnation; and the class motto "You're off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so...get on your way!" Dr. Suess.
Superintendent Josh Warren provided the welcome address. Aleeya Morris, gave the Salutatorian address, thanked the school staff, families, classmates and friends for all their support throughout the years. Mrs. Sweeter, the school's Guidance Counselor, presented scholarship awards, and recognized individual students for their achievements. Brooke Forre, Valedictorian and President of the class, gave her speech on all the things they will remember from over the years and the people who influenced them. Some of the things she will miss the most is the small everyday happenings or moments.
The senior slideshow was presented. The members of the class then made a special presentation of flowers while the song "Don't Forget to Remember Me" by Carrie Underwood played. Principal Erin Forre then presented the class to the President of the Board of Education, Mrs. Jeanie McCloud. After receiving their diplomas, the graduates went outside to receive congratulations from their guests.
